Paul Woollard, Executive Director
As TAHG's Executive Director, Mr. Woollard is responsible for all
aspects of the organization. His prior experience includes tenures
as Director of Equity Investment in Fannie Mae's Housing Impact
Division and as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Affordable
Housing in Wachovia's Real Estate Capital Markets, where his group
was responsible for equity investment, construction financing and
permanent financing for affordable housing and historic properties.
He also has worked in city government as an urban planner and in
real estate development as a project manager for properties involving
public/private joint ventures. Mr. Woollard has been active on local
and national levels in affordable housing and community development,
including serving as an Evaluator for the Treasury Department CDFI
group allocating the New Markets Tax Credits, as member of national
trade organizations, and as a member of the Charlotte, NC Housing
Trust Fund Advisory Board and Enterprise Foundation Advisory Board.
Mr. Woollard holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia School
of Arts and Sciences, a Master's degree from the University of Virginia
School of Architecture, and an MBA from the Yale University School
of Management.
